Agnes for solo play with tips and tricks designed for solo play.

Short Summary: Don't be afraid to use draw actions to dig for your outs. Shrivelling & Forbidden Knowledge with aid from Arcane Initiate as well as investigation boosts such as Perception, "Look what I found!" Flashlight and of course Drawn to the Flame.

Aggressively mulligan into Shriveling only keeping Arcane Initiate if you missed it. Use actions to draw into it if necessary and Scrying as a very last resort. This is so critical as you are going to have a hard time evading or fighting 4 might/flight enemies without it.

Once you've got Shriveling you'll need to work hard to keep a flow of investigation boosts in your hand. Thin your deck with Arcane Initiate and use skills to draw just so that you can help increase Perception, Drawn to the Flame, Flashlight and "Look what I found!". In a pinch you can pitch your second and yet to be played Scrying to assist with investigation.

Forbidden Knowledge is reliable damage to an enemy with combined with Agnes Baker special ability.

Here's a cute trick you can pull to maximize damage. During the Upkeep Phase immediately after Forbidden Knowledge is readied trigger it's ability to deal one damage. During the following Mythos Phase use Ward of Protection to gain a horror and deal another damage. Or perhaps the encounter deck will assist you with that single horror.

Upgrade two Blinding Light's and Grotesque Statue in that priority. Consider replacing "Look what I found!" with the second tier Lucky! with any extra XP. Add a second Grotesque Statue.
