Every gun makes its own tune.

Tony is the Man with No Name. No frills, just kills, but only if he gets his money. He prefers handguns for the quick-draw (Sleight of Hand, Joey "The Rat" Vigil). He is a Lone Wolf and acts cool, but he’s also a showman and partial to sudden, extravagant displays of power ("Watch this!", Quick Thinking, Double or Nothing, Act of Desperation). There’s no doubt that being Lucky! and Well Connected has contributed to his survival.

This deck tries to take advantage of Tony’s strength while mitigating his glaring weakness: 2 willpower and 2 agility with very few ways to counter treachery effects. The best in house way of overcoming this is Well Connected, which can be devoted to a treachery effect every turn. Then the deck has to get lots of resources, which is helped by Act of Desperation and Take Heart more than the other factions he could choose. Act of Desperation makes a very nice combo with Double or Nothing, since the super combat boost can help ensure it hits. Doing this with .45 Thompson brings him to 11 combat and gives 12 resources if successful! Tack on a "Watch this!" and it becomes 21 net resources. This could suddenly turn on Well Connected in the mid-game. Trickle resources from Lone Wolf and Decorated Skull also help promote mid-game swells.

Additional card analysis:

  1. Joey "The Rat" Vigil. Rogue doesn’t have great options but Joey "The Rat" Vigil turns resources into actions, which is great for a deck with lots of resources. He also lets you wait to play weapons until needed, which really helps hand slots, and draw a new gun at instant speed while killing enemies. Third, he makes Lupara great when you get to upgrades. Finally, he makes Colt Vest Pocket a good card. Tony can get all 5 shots off with the Colt if you use Quick Thinking and Tony’s extra bounty-attack action.
  2. Flashlight. Even better with Joey.
  3. Sleight of Hand. Works great with Tony's .38 Long Colt and flashlight. Can also be used with Colt Vest Pocket, although Joey "The Rat" Vigil is better support for this because you don’t want the pocket colt if you can’t play it as a fast action. At first I thought you might be able to use Sleight of Hand to play Tony's .38 Long Colt and get a second one for free, but it looks like this only works if you actually play it from your hand.

Same idea as my version of this deck(I even gave it the same name), but I like the faction because of Prepared for the Worst and Evidence!
