General description:
This is an attempt to use the librarian with any of the new powerfull books and cards of the latest expansions.

This is a 9XP upgraded version to play on special scenarios like "Murder at hotel Excelsior", with another investigator (I'll run with Tommy Muldoon).

As a few roleplay in this build, I tried a seeker with books as primary power source, without the classic googles / flashlight usage to help getting clues. I Also wanted to eliminate arcanic studies cards alike, which genrally ruins your economy once out: this deck runs with low economy, and only books!

Clues: High
Economy: Low
Combat: Medium
Evasion: Medium
Event management: Good
Movement: Good

Combo in this deck:
Main combo is to get "Abigail Foreman" + "Encyclopedia" ASAP on the table. This combo will give you as a free action, +2 stat bonus on 2 competences or +4 on a single one during your play phase, which allows you to get out of most situations (6 combat librarian!), and even help your allies.

If you get Abigail from your first hand, dont rush it too soon: it will lock your ally slot and you won't be able to use "Calling in Favors" or your "Research librarian" to get the book you need. Wait until until you get encyclopedia and you're good to go!

You can also use Dream journal + Oniric Essence as a backup combo to get +2 to any stat. It can stack with the main combo in case needed, and it can be used any phase when you have it in hand, unlike the main combo.

"Quantic flux" is here to reset your deck in case your key cards are gone.

Cards usage:

Allies: Except for abigail, Other allies are just there to give on play bonuses and take hits until Abigail is there, or until you get one of the 2 "Calling in Favors" to get it. All allies are cost 2 except Abigail which will make "Calling in Favors" work like a charm.

Books:
Encyclopedia: See main combo
Esoteric atlas: Your main move and avoid effect
Medical texts: to heal you and your allies
Occult lexicon/blood rite: Your main combat card - Draw or get money only in dire cases
Dream Diary/Essence of the dream: Another +2 Competence boost mainly to handle Mythos events
Scroll of prophecies: make you and your allies draw and discard
Otherworld Codex: control card if too much monsters or cards in play

Events:
Calling in Favors: to get Abigail.
Quantum Flux: To get you key combo cards back in the deck if needed.
Crack the case: your money maker.
Practice makes perfect: works with the 3 comptetences below, and makes them usable twice.
Mind over matter: makes a round of combat / evasion possible.
Read the signs: really Powerfull spell to collect clues in even worse situations.

Competencies:
Deduction: Basic investigation gambit.
Enraptured: To add charges, mainly on "Esoteric atlas". Empower with "Practice makes perfect" if possible.
Perception: Not the most powerfull, but usefull anyway to ensure "Practice makes perfect" will work fine (and makes you draw).

Other cards:
Holy rosary: to get some extra sanity in case "necronomicon" gets out. adds will forhandling mythos events and "Read the signs".
Dasy's Tote bag: allows to handle up to 4-5 books at the same time!
