Roland Banks Fighter/Clue Support

Role: Dedicated Fighter/Support Cluever.

Overview: This deck is designed for both solo and mulitplayer. It uses Roland as the main fighter but since his special ability and seeker cards he can also grab clues pretty fast. One problem in this deck might be the economy, so you might want to upgrade into cards like Ever Vigilant, Leadership or Emergency Cache (3).

Clues: It relies on discovering clues by defeating enemies rather than by investigating but with cards like Fieldwork or Hawk-Eye Folding Camera Roland can also take normal investigate actions if necessary although you might need those actions to take ressources or draw cards. Ideally, at locations with one clue you just wait for an enemy and defeat it. At locations with 2 or more clues use you can also wait for an enemy to show up and then use Grete Wagner to grab 2 clues. Also use On the Hunt and First Watch to make sure that you draw enemies and avoid those nasty will treacheries.

Encounter deck defense: As just said, cards like First Watch or On the Hunt to make sure that you avoid will treacheries. Additionally, cards like Inquiring Mind, Steadfast or Unexpected Courage can be committed if Roland draws a must pass will treachery. If you can get out one or two Hawk-Eye Cameras early Roland also actually gets a decent willpower pretty quick.
