Timeworn Survivor Stand-alone

General Strategy:
The general strategy for this deck is to allow you to comfortably get Cal down to really low health and sanity without feeling like you are risking certain death. Your Coat, your Keepsake, and your Perseverance will see you through! Like most Survivor decks this list is not one that needs a lot of supplies, however you will see Forbidden Knowledge here. This was included to help with gearing up toward clue collection and paying into Scrapper.

You'll find you have plenty of fun strategy points, playing around with Yaotl and Cornered. Additionally what to Scrounge back to hand (might I recommend Perseverance if you've committed it for a willpower test).

Don't be afraid if your big weapon doesn't come up, this deck has plenty of Event options to deal with monsters.

Mulligan:
You are going to want to look out for your assets. Forbidden Knowledge can come in quite handy, but I also wouldn't throw back Timeworn Brand, Lesson Learned, or Cornered either.

Tips:

• Don't be afraid to commit Glory, Live and Learn or Last Chance to clue gathering checks, you can always scrounge them back to hand later
• Don't forget to cash in on Winging It when it is sitting in your discard pile
• Counterpunch with Stunning Blow to get a monster off your back without losing a beat!
