Roland 2022

I do like Roland, (despite his obvious weak throw in Investigation..) but I'm not sure why. I just seem to have a soft spot for him and I was determined to make him work, so this is my take, using all the resources up to End of the Earth, which we don't have.

He's a solid fighter with the .45 and Survival Knife, (the first card to get upgraded) and the standard set of Skill cards. I used to used Steadfast but I like the card-draw better off the basics. Prep for the Worst if your mulligan doesn't net you a weapon, (we put this under Stick to the Plan when we get that).

Something Worth, Hallowed Mirror and First Aid, (the latter gets dumped pretty quick) to soak the Horror.

Buy your clues with Art Student (and she's a soak in a pinch) and Working a Hunch. His special will help there too, especially using On the Hunt to get you a bad guy.

Cache and Preposterous for cash and card draw.
