Welcome to Bob Rosseau

Today in the studio we're painting happy little trees to help our client Chucky Boy. This deck focuses on a reliance of tackling what ever is thrown our way with copious amounts of events.

Strengths

  • Decent defensive skills. Having 4s are always serviceable and allows some flexibility in which direction you really want to go.

  • Extremely dynamic card pool

  • Really stellar Investigator ability It's very fun to always start by looking at a 3rd of your deck for inspiration at the start.

Weaknesses

  • Our and are rather low in the beginning and will need some work. Which is what Fruit loop skull is for. As it can relieve some problems you might stumble into with higher value tests by committing drawing upon your previous experiences of your artistic (and sometimes illegal) career.

  • Card dependence. In the art world, time is relative sometimes you will not get what you need when you need it. Which can happen in any deck but it can very much be noticeable here.

  • Low offensive stats Bob may have been in the air force for 20 years but he mellowed out and he's definitely not going head first at problems like other veterans . So don't try to buff these too much because it's probably not worth it.

  • The signature weakness This will either be a non issue or ruin your day there is no in-between.

"Let's get crazy"

The goal of the deck is to be flexible, which means grabbing clues and getting some damage off. Will you be the one who vacuums an entire room of clues in a turn? Probably not. Will you be the one to down an 8 health enemy in a turn? Probably not. But can you pull your on weight? Oh yeah baby .

You're going to be tackling most of your clues by cranking up your scores by a lot and combat will change depending on how you want it. I placed a balance of both testless and tests for both. Your art studio will most definitely be different from mine and that is totally ok. Notable side pieces include [Storm of Spirits](/card/03153), [Sneak Attack](/card/01052), [Nimble](/card/60317). Additionally if you want to [In the Thick of It](/card/08125) for added post-war immersion and to get Inspiration and brushes go for it.

Upgrade path

If you didn't start with the "Inspiration" and "brushes" it'd be a great Idea to get them asap.

Up next I recommend grabbing Adaptable as we can sometimes make happy little accidents, and it allows you to experiment and learn. Then just.... paint a tree over it.

Up next is preference and how much exp you get our client. Chuck Fergus and Moxie. Our Client is one of the main wheel in the machine but Moxie is something that allows up to consistently push through tests. Another option is a Tarot card as we consistently see them considering you're looking at a third of your deck at the start.

Following that is our major flex Double, Double This baby is expensive but when used correctly your turn could end with a masterpiece. It won't be the bedrock of your deck but it'll certainly amplify the engine you have.

Notable mentions for after your main 20 experience, Delilah O'Rourke Charisma, Lucky Cigarette Case why not a Relic Hunter if you want both? Pickpocketing
