Starting Lola with 3 trauma from Arcane Research and In the Thick of It opens up the potential to play with the 4 icon skill cards out of the gate, which all happen to be neutral and thus work for this deck regardless of which class you find yourself operating from.
In practice, it does not matter which class you decide to run the deck out of, but it will primarily be out of rogue or survivor, so that you can take advantage of either streetwise or scavenging, depending on your situation. Upgrades as follows:
Flashlight will be the primary investigation tool and Hyperphysical Shotcaster your main fighting tool, as Scavenging is just here to recur the flashlights and/or space gun.
Consider upgrading the dilemmas early, as these are not triggered by the player so they resolve regardless of Lola's chosen class.
Mystic splash is mostly for Arcane Research, but with the added bonus of the dual class spells. Kukri or Voice of Ra should become Brand of Cthugha, and Ethereal Slip should become Blur ASAP. Theoretically speaking, after putting enough experience into the Telescanner upgrade on Hyperphysical, one could change the Lanterninto a Peter Sylvestre to help Lola soak some of the excess horror and keep her in the 3 sanity sweet spot. I would avoid upgrading the Unexpected Courage as it is more versatile as a neutral card in this deck and keeping the 7x3 balance that it was built with seems ideal to me.
My goal with this deck was to make a Lola that isn't limited by her deckbuilding restrictions to be devoted to one particular class, and this deck is intended to be flexible in many situations regardless of whether your deck is clumping into a particular color or not. My experience with Lola has been that it is very tempting to run some of the particularly powerful and specialized tech from her chosen classes but in this one I've tried to blur the lines so that she can do anything in any of her chosen classes and allows you to save that fast action role swap for the mythos phase when you might need it most.
