A variant on the “desperate Pete” build, focusing on higher .
Duke still does most of the work, and generally doesn’t need much help. The spells probably only get used in scenarios that you need to do extra fighting or searching for clues. Otherwise you just play St. Hubert's Key and Yaotl in most scenarios.
Peter Sylvestre is still a priority upgrade, along with Charisma. Combined with all the skill cards, Pete should be able to boost his skills to 6+ on any test.
So apparently Able Bodied (or any,of the dynamic skill cards in TCU) doesn’t work well with Yaotl since the card is considered to have only 1 icon while in the discard pile. It only gains the bonus icons when committed to a test.
So, it may be better to just use Manual Dexterity or something else with icons.
