This build focuses on clue finding and evading. The magnifying glass is really there to support clue finding if you don’t draw lockpicks but honestly, try to draw lockpicks at all cost and use Lucky Cigarette Case and Smuggled Goods to do so. I found this build was amazing at both evading and clues. With lockpicks and a few equipped (Finn has a combined 8 intelligence and agility), I found I could investigate higher shroud areas than our seeker and you pretty much only fail on the auto fail token. With other assets that increase agility and intelligence, you go upto 10, and that’s assuming you aren’t committing any skill cards.

Magnifying glass: Because Lockpicks is a once a turn thing, you want to still be able to investigate when it’s exhausted.

.18 Derringer: Why not the .41 you say? I found that with such a low strength attribute (3), even with the +2, I usually missed or just passed (most enemies are 3 or 4 strength in the campaign I played). The returning bullet when you fail means that you are guaranteed the 4 damage.

Upgrading: Priority: Lockpicks, Lucky Cigarette Case

Upgrading to .18 Derringer makes it 1 less resource to play and gives you an extra bullet.

Late game, remove Burglary and add Another Day, Another Dollar. This frees you up to add 2 cards to the deck and guarantees you the resources.

I added Lola Santiago. You can either replace Dr Milan Christopher or eventually just purchase Charisma to have both.

You can also upgrade Sneak Attack and Slip Away but they are less of a priority IMO.

Other cards to consider (honestly there are so many good skill cards for this deck) are: Nimble, Quick Thinking or even Double or Nothing
