Tommy only had a brief time on loan to the Sheriff's department in Arkham, but enough time to find himself investigating a tip off about a mob-owned distillery with Tetsuo Mori. It turned into a situation involving overwhelming numbers of nightgaunts and a number of vats of alcohol. He faced some dark times reliving that flesh-sizzling smoke and flame-filled night and gained an unhealthy fascination with the entropic properties of fire, as well as a few enemies .

Before his departure from Arkham Sheriff's department he started up a new enterprise: the fire service. Not those tough chaps with fire engines, bells, buckets and poles, but a secret order of people united in their purpose to seek out, find, destroy and sometimes burn the many agents of darkness infesting the streets.

Tommy likes fire. Lots of fire. Sometimes a little too much fire. Sure he still has his trusty Custom Marlin Model 1894 but now his weapon of choice is Delilah. She has a fiery temper, the kind of temper that ghouls don't wake up from.

A fight-heavy guardian designed for multiplayer, designed to get stuck into a massive stack of enemies and leave them in a pile of burning ichor. Limited options for clue-finding, though a base skill of 3 with Flashlight could still be handy at times. Takes a few turns to build up a little momentum, but when he does, the resources flow very effectively thanks to Spiritual Resolve.

Lots of options for finding, upgrading, reloading and reusing Delilah (Tetsuo will keep running back with it, especially from the discard pile); Venturer can keep reappearing to trickle ammo; Well-Maintained can be attached to it ; or there is the nice combo of Act of Desperation; Delilah; and Well-Maintained meaning you desperately throw Delilah at the enemy for a nice attack; and get all the resources back to play it again, as it returns to hand from Well-Maintained.

Without Acts of Desperation, Tommy can also discard Delilah by playing Flashlights if it is out of ammo, or if he needs to change into a clue-hunter for a short period of time. Even in a 4 player scenario he should have plenty of ammunition from discarding and replaying.

Spiritual Resolve and Tetsuo Mori are resource-effective ways of using Tommy's ability to save health while getting resources and Solemn Vow is a helpful way of healing allied investigators while also helping put damage/sanity tokens on his assets. A Chance Encounter is there in case Tetsuo Mori has disappeared into the depths of his discard pile due to a Rookie Mistake.

My innsmouth set has not arrived yet, so its more about my collection. That would be a handy card! (maybe replacing Get over here, or possibly Taunt) :-(
