Trying to use Daisy with allies she does not care about that much just get a quick draw or clue then put out another and discard the previous or use Calling in Favors to get a discount on the next. Your first upgrade should be Charisma so you can keep out an impactful ally like Dr. Milan Christopher or Alyssa Graham. I have been testing this and David Renfield is pretty nice. Especially in an opening hand that includes Old Book of Lore and or Calling in Favors. He can get you some good money fairly quick and is easy to rid yourself of with another ally or Calling in Favors. Art Student IMO may be one of the best cards in the game with this build, Testless clue gain is always nice. This is a build where you are supported by a fighter however. With just Shrivelling to deal with baddies. David Renfield can assist a little with that test but may require more doom to help it be successful than I would be comfy with. Other than Charisma your next goal would be Higher Education. It is surprising how often with David Renfield/Dr. Milan Christopher you have plenty of money and Old Book of Lore/No Stone Unturned/Laboratory Assistant can help you keep your handsome up. I would like to squeeze in another Laboratory Assistant but have not quite figured out what to cut out yet.
So I did update this I took out a Magnifying Glass for a Laboratory Assistant it worked ok. Daisy's 5 intellect is usually pretty good and she does not need the boost. Dr. Milan Christopher and Alyssa Graham never hit the table and I admit that is on purpose. They are really more for if you are playing campaign mode and have Charisma. #art student did some work, each one hitting the table twice gathering 4 testless clues. (using [Calling in Favors](/card/03158 to bring them back to hand). If I were playing a 1 shot I might rebuild this and take out Dr. Milan Christopher and Alyssa Graham totally. I would probably try something that helped with fighting a little more as this build has no way to defend itself and often Daisy needs to do that from time to time. Maybe "I've got a plan!" but that may be pricey for this deck. I do know one thing running this in a solo run-through upgrading Holy Rosary to Spirit Athame is one of the best choices I ever made. Have fun and I appreciate thoughts or suggestions.
