Since childhood, Tommy had been obsessed with explosions. While other kids played soccer, he was off lighting firecrackers, amazed by every bang. As an adult, even though he became a cop, his love for detonations never faded. In fact, any excuse to be near explosives on the job was perfect for him. He’d say it “kept him sharp.”
One day, he heard about Cicuta Island, a mysterious place where, according to rumors, there were explosive goats! Tommy nearly jumped out of his chair when he heard that. Goats that exploded? What kind of pyrotechnic dream was that? Without a second thought, he signed up for Dr. Rosa Márquez's scientific expedition, pretending to be interested in the local wildlife, but with only one goal in mind: find one of those goats and enjoy the best fireworks show of his life.
