Marie in Wonderland (post-TCU, + Deck Guide)

This Marie Lambeau deck was used in a Circle Undone Campaign as primarily a cluever. She was partnered with Diana Stanley who focused more on damage. I am by no means an expert deckbuilder, so I am very open to suggestions on improving this deck.

The deck starts out with Down the Rabbit Hole and includes multiple cards that can be upgraded, utilizing In the Thick of It to start with two copies of Alter Fate for upgrading into The Level 3 version later.

Doom play / Using Marie's ability

Doom to activate the extra action come from Arcane Initiate that also helps you find all your spells, David Renfield who also greatly boosts your economy, and later on Blood Pact that also helps you boost your . Remove the doom with Moonlight Ritual as needed. And feel free to spam for resources and skill boosts in the Witching Hour (right before the doom advances). Blood Rite from Occult Lexicon and Soothing Melody from Hallowed Mirror utilize Marie's bonus action to draw cards, deal testless damage and heal.

Clueving

Marie can get clues from Sixth Sense and Winging It, utilizing Hawk-Eye Folding Camera and Arcane Studies to boost her and .

Enemy management

As I said, Marie is mainly there to get the clues. That said, as a mystic she can easily pack some damage spells to help out with damage. Shrivellingis your damage spell; the aforementioned Blood Rite can add some testless damage to the mix. Soothing Melody and Deny Existence help you of you take too much horror (or just dump it on your Arcane Initiate or David Renfield once they've fulfilled their purpose. If you get swarmed, Storm of Spirits is there as a backup option.

Encounter Management

Protecting against the mythos can be done with cards such as Alter Fate, Deny Existence and Ward of Protection. Dayana Esperence provides extra uses of your spell events for the trade-off of an extra XP cost due to Down the Rabbit Hole. Promise of Power is just a great card to help for important tests or against mythos cards testing other stats such as .
