Preston Fairmont probably will never beat Darrell Simmons in doing the no difficulty niche, but I tried my best lol.

This is my first Preston Fairmont deck, and my first time playing him. The only problem I had is how long it takes him to set up, and damage management.

Knight of Swords never exhausts, so succeeding by 2 repeatedly is usually guaranteed if the difficulty is zero (via Flashlight + Matchbox). Strong cards Lucky Cigarette Case, Scavenging, and Pilfer require succeeding by 2 to trigger their abilities.

Exploit Weakness and Flashlight for enemy management.

Joey "The Rat" Vigil for action management + removing Flashlight from hand to get it back through Scavenging.

Double, Double and Scrounge for Supplies to return Shed a Light.

Does this really work ? The Knight of Swords gives you +1 skill. Starting at 1, if you draw a -2, the +2 from the knights should only let you pass by 1. At least that's the way I was playing it. Never the less, I really like your deck, I never thought about playing preston this way and it's neat.

@Docteur_Hareng It looks like he is playing with 2 Knight of Swords in play (thanks to Moon Pendant). So he's getting +2 skill value as a reaction after succeeding a test by 0. Very cool, but I wonder if there is enough draw power in this deck to get all the pieces set up. Maybe consider At a Crossroads?
