This is my Daisy deck like it was just before the final scenario of the Dunwich Legacy. On her adventures Daisy was accompanied by Mark Harrigan, and together they managed to (barely) win!
Now that the campaign is over I thought I'd write a little card-by-card post-mortem analysis:
Amazing! Used mostly to boost intellect or willpower, but helped to evade couple of nasty monsters too.
Ok in the early scenarios, but after getting Encyclopedia didn't play this once. Really good for filtering out weaknesses.
Daisy's signature weakness wasn't that big of a deal in most scenarios. I think I had issues with hands being full once, and in the final scenario the = almost killed poor Daisy.
Did not hit the table, makes me wonder if I forgot t actually put it in the deck...
It's good, especially with two players - when used to peek the encounter deck you get to decide who gets what, and bury one to be dealt with later. But.. often I ended up having this in my hand with no time to play and use it.
With all the willpower-testing encounters a second copy would have been handy.
Ok. Daisy needs something to boost her health.
Too expensive for what he offers. Bonus intellect is nice, the special is ok (at least he pays back slowly), but 4 resources can be spent better.
Had lucky draws (= got a nice Tome in my starting hand) every time, so this was quite useless.
Played as asset once, and didn't ecen need the extra hands that time. Good skill icons though.
Free actions = amazingness.
Strange Solution: Acidic Ichor
Saved Daisy multiple times. I couldn't trust Mark to handle all the monsters so had to pack some punch myself. There were two "I've got a plan!"s for that purpose before this solution.
Most of the time I had very few cards in my hand so the education didn't pay off.
Duh.
In theory it's great, but in practice I never had it in my hand at the right time.
Included to help fellow investigator Mark to get his weapons. Never used :(
Lifesaver. Just remember to take the horror!
Another card that never seemed to show up at the right time.
Good.
Also good.
Random Basic Weakness was Haunted. Action sink, but not too bad.
All in all, the deck performed quite well. The biggest issue was the low skill icon count on many of the cards, so if I would start over with Daisy I'd add more skill cards (Guts at least).
