This is my attempt at a combat-focused Silas Marsh deck for multiplayer. I would love feedback from more experienced players with ideas or suggestions!
(Note. I am only using cards that I own. I do not own all the decks yet)

Nov 01, 2022Thank you for your comment. I see what you are saying. I totally looked over fire axe. I don't have forgotten age player cards, so i wanted to build out of the cards that I own on paper |
Nov 01, 2022That deck is nice and it should work out fine for you! I think your deck is well rounded, Schoffner's Catalogue will pay for your Meat Cleaver and Sea Change Harpoon, while keeping your Dark Horse up. Your 5 starting resources will pay for Dig Deep, Dark Horse or Peter Sylvestre. Maybe one challenge you will have: you will probably want to take the resource during the upkeep phase, to spend it on Lucky! or Dig Deep if you have a test on a treachery card. But if you draw an enemy instead, you will be stuck with that resource, and it will not trigger Dark Horse. A quick fix for this will be to upgrade to Scrapper early. Good job on the deck building and have fun! |

Nov 02, 2022You'll likely get better use from Manual Dexterity then guts. Make sure you're playing to your strengths; Silas is excellent at evading monsters, and he loves skills which are conducive to that strategy. Also, your curve is quite high, meaning you may end up with a lot of cards in hand without the resources to play them. You can upgrade into some great cards to remedy this, but at level 0 maybe consider something like Emergency Cache |
Maybe you should try to focus a bit more on certain cards. For example, if you wanna run Dark Horse then you should make a Fire Axe your main weapon. Also, i would remove Dig Deep from this deck as it is not a very good card, as you do not need to boost your AGI and WILL as you can easily boost them with your skill cards.
Some cards that i almost always include in my Silas decks on lvl 0: Stunning Blow, Quick Thinking, Track Shoes, "Look what I found!", and sometimes Backpack.
