Kate uses Science and a bit of Magic to make everyone's life just a little bit easier

When Kate was previewed, some were speculating she would be our first 5 / 2 investigator. But ever since her deck building rules came out, nobody has yet to publish a deck list.
I made this one to get people interested in playing her. She may not be a rogue, but she can over-succeed like one.

• Draw lots of cards to assemble a big hand with Laboratory Assistant and Dream-Enhancing Serum.

• Use Farsight to play Map the Area fast. This will make it easier to investigate, evade, and survive the mythos.

• Use Survival Technique to pick up Map the Area before you leave.

• Practice Makes Perfect has Kate on it. Use it to grab a Deduction which you then protect with her other card Analysis.

• Empirical Hypothesis should draw you a card each turn with the succeed by 3 clause. You're testing Map the Area at a minimum of 8 even before you find your Magnifying Glasses or start moving clues around.

• "Fool me once..." can lock up your Failed Experiment after you've resolved it. That way you won't draw it again after you reshuffle. Commit your Analysis if you have it and remember to check if there's a scenario ability to spend clues from your assets before the commit step in order to lower its difficulty.

• Survival Technique can also be used during basic investigates (see card page for ruling).

• Play her in a campaign with Archaic Glyphs, using your clues as +2's and Analysis as protection.

• Team up with somebody using the tabooed Power Word to lower its test down to 0 with Fine Clothes. Maybe they'll pay you back with Black Market and Lucky Cigarette Case.

• Go the clue drop route with Research Notes and Quick Study.

• Take a page out Joe's book and add Eon Chart and Unearth the Ancients for a faster setup.
